The third and final race of the weekend turned out to be the best for conditions and even after my now traditional poor start, more overtakes left me with the best result: 17th out of 22 finishers but back to last in class.

There aren’t many drivers who excel in the wet but team mate Richard Sykes, who has previously raced several seasons in Ginettas, is a master – his best lap in race 3 was over a second faster than my best lap here in the dry. He made a clean sweep of the class with 3 out of 3 wins – superb performance.
Completing all five races of the season so far has left me at an advantage over some of the others and puts me 11th in the drivers’ championship on 50 points. It also means I have now accrued four signatures on my MSC race license upgrade card. Sadly due to lack of funds I skip the next round Cadwell Park, so will likely loose a few places – but I’m back in action at Brands Hatch on June 9 /10th.
