A second track day with fellow Toyo Tires Porsche Championship driver Rebecca Jackson as my coach saw me set a new personal best on the short but challenging (and fun) Brands Hatch Indy circuit in Kent today. OpenTrack Events‘ Dave Woodall has very kindly come on board as a partner for the 2013 season and we enjoyed a very rewarding day in bright but chilly conditions. Also present was Major James Cameron of Mission Motorsport, whose aim is to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military operations by providing opportunities through motorsport. Rebecca and I were very happy to take the opportunity of providing passenger laps to some of the combat veterans.
