Ready for Snetterton

We’re at Snetterton from today for the second round of the 2012 Logson Porsche Championship. The Newbridge truck was the first to arrive, with others preparing to leave after a day of testing some serious kit. Next to us, a pair of Le Mans GT2-class Porsches were being packed away, while early arrivals from the very large number of MX5s who are also running this weekend unloaded elsewhere in the paddock. Weather forcast seems to vary from OK to downpoor; I must admit I’ve hardly driven on track at all in rain, so we’ll just have to see how it goes. If it stays fine, I’ll be looking to at least match my personal best here, set after a day’s tuition from Malcolm in a rented Elise. If it decides on more rain, I’ll be happy to get some more finishes under my racing belt.

Will post another update tomorrow after our free practice sessions.
