We’re at Brands Hatch for a day’s tuition in the usual ES Motorsport Elise S2. After the torrential rain on the way down the motorways this morning, it’s now drying out (just as we’ve dialled in wet settings) and the sun is making an appearance. So with luck, a little perspiration and Malcolm‘s expertise, the lap times should come down (not that we’re timing, of course).

I didn’t quite manage to match the target Malcolm had set for me, but I’m sure I improved massively on my previous times there, set in my own Boxster. Our race there isn’t for another 6 weeks so I hope I can retain Malcolm’s advice and put in a decent performance when the Logson BRSCC Porsche Championship rolls in.
